MP for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo Supports Persons With Disabilities(PWDs) with GH¢50,000 End of Year Donation

 


The Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo has presented an amount of GH¢50,000 to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in her constituency as part of activities to support the vulnerable groups during the Christmas and New Year festivities.


The donation, which formed part of the MP’s annual end of year support initiative, is aimed at promoting community care, inclusion, and improving the livelihoods of Persons with Disabilities during the festive season.



The MP made the presentation when she was invited to attend the Annual General Meeting and Get-Together of Persons with Disabilities(PWDs) held at Nsuta, the district capital. The event brought together a large number of PWDs from across the constituency.


Addressing the gathering, the MP said the gesture was intended to bring relief to members, promote social inclusion, and support their livelihoods, especially during the Christmas and New Year season.


She expressed her delight and appreciation for the massive turnout at the event, noting that her presence had brought together a significant number of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).According to her, the large attendance has further strengthened her resolve to continue supporting them.

The MP assured the gathering of her commitment to ensure that all necessary efforts and support needed to improve the welfare and livelihoods of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the constituency would be provided


Mr Dickson Kwame Frimpong, the Ashanti Regional PRO for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs )expressed gratitude to the MP for her continuous support and described the donation as timely and impactful, especially during the festive season.


He used the opportunity to made an appeal to the authorities and this is what he said.
