GHART Pushes for Local Auto Production at Innovation Seminar

  The Ghana Heavy Duty Artisans Association(GHART) under the GARAGES umbrella, has held a major innovation seminar aimed at boosting youth employment and promoting local manufacturing in the country’s automotive industry. The event took place at the Suame Municipal Assembly on November 28 , 2025 which forms part of a two-phase training and exhibition program designed to highlight Ghana’s capacity to produce high-quality auto parts and technical machinery locally. The seminar featured an impressive display of items manufactured by Ghanaian artisans — including universal joints, cooling systems, fuel injector analyzers, compression gauges, and even battery-grade acid mixtures. Asanko Gold Ghana Launches Community Agricultural Support Project

  Asanko Gold Ghana Limited has launched a new Community Agricultural Support Project aimed at boosting farming activities across its host communities. The initiative, introduced in collaboration with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, is designed to improve crop yields, enhance farmers’ technical skills, and promote climate-smart farming practices  The project targets farmers in the Amansie South and Amansie West Districts, where illegal mining continues to lure many away from their farms in search of quick financial gains. Dr. Isaac Kwakye, Sustainability Manager at Asanko Gold Mines, said the project is part of the company’s commitment to improving farmers’ welfare and promoting sustainable agriculture. Over 5,000 Gather in Kumasi for Kofi Job Foundation’s Mega Prayer for President Mahama

  Kumasi came to a virtual standstill as more than five thousand people filled the Jubilee Park for a massive prayer rally organised by the Kofi Job Foundation. The three-day event, which opened with strong patriotic energy, was dedicated to praying for President John Dramani Mahama, his appointees, and the nation at large. On the first day alone, organisers distributed over seven thousand Ghana flags to participants, creating a colourful and spirited atmosphere. Elder Dr. Bismark Amoah of the Bohye Prayer and Revival Center led the intercession, quoting Proverbs 29:2 to remind Ghanaians of the impact righteous leadership has on a nation. The prayer festival continues, with thousands expected to take part in the remaining sessions.

Deputy Defence Minister Tours Accra Recruitment Centres After El-Wak Tragedy : Leads Armed Forces in Prayer Day

  The Deputy Minister of Defence, Hon. Ernest Brogya Genfi, has toured key military recruitment centres in the Greater Accra Region to ensure that new safety and transparency measures are being strictly enforced.  His visit comes in the wake of the tragic stampede at the El-Wak Sports Stadium on 12 November 2025, which claimed six lives and left several others injured. Following a temporary suspension of the recruitment exercise, the Ghana Armed Forces reopened four major centres on 20 November El-Wak Stadium, Nicholson Stadium, the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) in Teshie, and the Air Force Base at Burma Camp.  The Deputy Minister moved from centre to centre, inspecting crowd-control arrangements, emergency response setups, and the revised entry procedures introduced to prevent any repeat of the unfortunate incident.
