Kwadaso Assembly Boosts Sanitation with New Waste Containers
The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly has taken steps to improve sanitation in the municipality with the commissioning of four waste containers at strategic locations to help reduce littering. The initiative is aimed at ensuring proper waste disposal and maintaining a cleaner environment for residents. Speaking to OTEC News at the commissioning on March 31, 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive, Eric Assibey, said the move is intended to strengthen the sanitation system and reduce the cost of clearing waste that is often left to pile up on the ground. He explained that keeping refuse in designated containers would make collection easier and more efficient, instead of relying heavily on machines to clear scattered waste. Hon.
