Kwadaso MCE Calls for Public Support in Combating Crime


 The Municipal Chief Executive for Kwadaso, Hon Eric Assibey, has emphasized the importance of public support in combating crime in society.


 Speaking at a to OTEC news Reporter Kwame Agyenim on Wednesday , Assibey stressed that protection is a shared responsibility, urging the public to play their part in maintaining security.


Assibey made the call when the Hill Top Land Lords Association donated a brand new motorbike to the Atwima-Takyiman Denkyemuoso District Police Headquarters.


 He commended the association for their support, noting that it would aid the police in their daily patrols and enhance security in the area.


For his part, Charles Kusi Manu, Chairman of the Hill Top Land Lords Association, said the donation was part of a promise the association made to the police to provide them with necessary equipment to carry out their work effectively.


 "We are committed to supporting the police in ensuring our community is safe and secure," he said.


Chief Superintendent Owoahene Acheampong, Abuakwa Divisional Police Commander, expressed gratitude for the donation, saying the motorbike would significantly improve the police's daily patrols and contribute to improved security in the area.
