I will win as NPP’s Ashanti Chair, lead with humility, dedication and a united front — Asanteman COKA


 Aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Asanteman COKA, says he will win the party’s chairmanship position in the region and lead with humility and dedication.


According to him, he has worked extensively for the party over the years and is looking forward to doing more as the regional chairman.


“The NPP is going to elect its regional executives in August, and I believe I will be declared the chairman for the region by 6:00 p.m. on election day,” he said.


He was speaking as the guest preacher at Heaven Seekers Ministry on Sunday.


Odeneho Kwaku Appiah emphasized that his leadership style will be marked by inclusivity, human-centered policies, loyalty, and a commitment to preparing a united party for the 2028 polls.


He noted that a united NPP can win any election and called on all party members to support his bid for the regional chairmanship position.

Kumasi Technical Institute Receives Completed First Phase of PTA Renovation Project

  The Parent Teacher Association of the Kumasi Technical Institute has officially handed over the first phase of a major renovation project to school authorities in the Kumasi Metropolis. Phase One of the project includes the painting and expansion of the school’s dining hall, the painting of the administration block, science block, and boys’ dormitory, as well as the provision of new dining hall tables and benches.   Members of the National Concerned Small Scale Miners at Manso-Watreso and other communities in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region are alleging harassment and extortion by police officers from Bekwai under the Ashanti South Regional Police Command. The miners in a statement on Monday alleged that officers from the command regularly visit sites belonging to members of the National Concerned Small Scale Miners Association to carry out operations and, in the process, allegedly collect money from miners without justification.  Some affected miners claim the officers often remove the number plates of the vehicles they use during these operations, making it difficult to properly identify them or authenticate the operations.
