10th Anniversary: Ejurahene Lauded for Leading With Honesty, Humility and Dedication


 The Chief of Agric Nzema, Nana Nkansah Boadi Ayeboafo, has praised Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II for his honesty, humility, and dedication to the development and well-being of the people of Ejura.


"I have known you even before you became the Chief of Ejura, you have always led with honesty and integrity, serving not only your people but the entire Ghana working as the protocol officer at the office of the vice president of Ghana for over two decades," Nana Nkansah Boadi Ayeboafo said.


He made this statement while joining hundreds of people to mark Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II's 10th anniversary on the stool on Sunday, December 28, 2025.


Nana Nkansah Boadi Ayeboafo noted that Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II has been a good steward of what his predecessors left in his care, delivering beyond expectations in the first decade of his reign.


He called on the elders and people of Ejura to support their industrious chief for him to deliver more developmental projects.


For his part, Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II thanked Nana Nkansah Boadi Ayeboafo for his continued support to his people.


He expressed his deepest gratitude to his mother and queen mother for Ejura, Nana Akua Tiwaa II, his council of elders, the people of Ejura, and all stakeholders who have contributed to the success chalked in the ten-year reign.


Barimah Osei Hwedie II pledged to lead with dedication and fight for more development for Ejura and its environs.

Kumasi Technical Institute Receives Completed First Phase of PTA Renovation Project

  The Parent Teacher Association of the Kumasi Technical Institute has officially handed over the first phase of a major renovation project to school authorities in the Kumasi Metropolis. Phase One of the project includes the painting and expansion of the school’s dining hall, the painting of the administration block, science block, and boys’ dormitory, as well as the provision of new dining hall tables and benches. A/R: Concerned Small-Scale Miners Allege Harassment and Extortion by Police,Calls for Probe

  Members of the National Concerned Small Scale Miners at Manso-Watreso and other communities in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region are alleging harassment and extortion by police officers from Bekwai under the Ashanti South Regional Police Command. The miners in a statement on Monday alleged that officers from the command regularly visit sites belonging to members of the National Concerned Small Scale Miners Association to carry out operations and, in the process, allegedly collect money from miners without justification.  Some affected miners claim the officers often remove the number plates of the vehicles they use during these operations, making it difficult to properly identify them or authenticate the operations.
