The chief of Ejura Divisional Council  Barimah Osei Hwedie II is celebrating a remarkable 10 years as the Divisional Chief of Ejura, with numerous projects that have improved the lives of residents.


 Here are some of the notable achievements:


Infrastructure Development


- Ejura Government Hospital Construction of a fence wall, a six-bedroom bungalow for the Medical Superintendent, and a maternity unit

- Police Headquarters

 Ultra-modern office complex valued at GH¢3.2 million

- Ghana National Fire Service: Seven-unit bungalow

- Water Supply Project: GH¢15 million project providing clean water to over 40,000 residents

- Market Complex: Ultra-modern market complex partnership with private organizations

- Classroom Blocks: Construction of new blocks for St. Mary's Anglican Primary School

- Office Complexes: Office space for Ghana Immigration Service and Ejura Divisional Police Headquarters


Security and Agriculture


- Land Release: 640 acres to Ghana Prison Service for expansion and 100 acres for Agricultural College

- Military Detachment Camp*: Established to enhance security

- Security Support: Financial support to security agencies and scholarships for students


Humanitarian Initiatives


- Scholarships: For postgraduate and undergraduate students

- Job Opportunities: Facilitated recruitment of young men and women into security agencies and civil service
