Nsuta Kwamang Beposo MP Spreads Holiday Cheer to Sekyere Beposomanhene

 


The Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo, Hon. Adelaide Ntim, has paid a festive courtesy call on Sekyere Beposo Manhene, Nana Okotwasuo Boamah Kwabi IV, and community leaders as part of Christmas celebrations. 


The visit was aimed at extending greetings, showing respect, discussing constituency development, and delivering holiday goodwill.


During the visit, the paramount chief expressed appreciation to Hon. Ntim for consistently paying homage to traditional leaders and showered blessings upon her life, wishing her well in her duties as MP.


The MP took the opportunity to discuss key development projects in the constituency with the chief and leaders, seeking their support for successful implementation. 


The traditional leaders pledged their backing, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for progress.


The visit ended on a high note, with both sides exchanging warm festive wishes. 


Hon. Ntim presented gifts to the chief and leaders, symbolizing goodwill and unity.

Kumasi Technical Institute Receives Completed First Phase of PTA Renovation Project

  The Parent Teacher Association of the Kumasi Technical Institute has officially handed over the first phase of a major renovation project to school authorities in the Kumasi Metropolis. Phase One of the project includes the painting and expansion of the school’s dining hall, the painting of the administration block, science block, and boys’ dormitory, as well as the provision of new dining hall tables and benches. The PTA also supplied a public address system and supported the expansion of the school’s auditorium. A/R: Concerned Small-Scale Miners Allege Harassment and Extortion by Police,Calls for Probe

  Members of the National Concerned Small Scale Miners at Manso-Watreso and other communities in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region are alleging harassment and extortion by police officers from Bekwai under the Ashanti South Regional Police Command. The miners in a statement on Monday alleged that officers from the command regularly visit sites belonging to members of the National Concerned Small Scale Miners Association to carry out operations and, in the process, allegedly collect money from miners without justification.  Some affected miners claim the officers often remove the number plates of the vehicles they use during these operations, making it difficult to properly identify them or authenticate the operations.
