Why Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II is the best and deserves more than Statue for his massive development for Ejura


 Ejura residents witnessed the unveiling of a beautiful statue in honor of their renowned chief Barimah Osei Hwedie II. Below are a few of the dozens  of projects the Chief has done for his people in the last 10 years:


1. Construction of a fence wall around the Ejura Government Hospital

2. Construction of a Six (6) bedroom bungalow for the Medical Superintendent at the Ejura Government Hospital

3. Construction of a Seven unit bungalow for the Ghana National Fire Service at Ejura

4. Construction and furnishing of a three (3) unit classroom block for the St. Mary’s Anglican Primary School

5. Furnishing of Six unit classroom block at the St. Mary’s Anglican Primary School

6. Construction and furnishing of an ultra modern office complex for the Ejura Divisional Police Headquarters construction valued at 3.2 million Ghana Cedis

7. Construction and maintenance of boreholes in 25 communities

8. Releasing of 640 acres of land to the Ghana Prison Service for the construction of a camp prison

9. Partnered the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly and Hallworth Ghana Limited for the construction of an ultra modern market complex

10. Partnered with the Islamic foundation for humanitarian services, Ejura to construct a mother and baby unit (MBU) at the Ejura Government Hospital

11. Provision of Scholarships for postgraduate and undergraduate students

12. Facilitating recruitment of a large number of young men and women from Ejura into the various security agencies and other civil service institutions since 2018

13. Setting up of a Military detachment camp to help contain the high incidence of crime and general indiscipline in Ejura and it’s environs

14. Acquired office space for the Ghana Immigration Service in Ejura

15. Lobbied for the ongoing construction of the Agenda 111 hospital in Ejura

16. Construction of No. 4 Culvert at Sabonline (Last Stop)
