Kennedy Agyapong's Focus on Jobs Makes Him Best Candidate for NPP - Dr. Boakye Dankwah

 

A lecturer at AAMUSTED, Dr. Boakye Dankwah, believes Kennedy Agyapong's focus on bread and butter issues makes him the best candidate to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the 2028 polls. 


Speaking to OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng on Sunday, Dr. Dankwah, who is also the Deputy Campaign Coordinator for Kennedy Agyapong's Campaign Team in the Ashanti Region, emphasized that Agyapong's message on job creation resonates well with Ghanaians.


According to Dr. Dankwah, Ghana has struggled to create jobs for its youth, making Agyapong's focus on employment a timely and pragmatic approach. 


He noted that Agyapong's track record in creating jobs sets him apart from other NPP flagbearer aspirants.


"Kennedy Agyapong is a new face, he's pragmatic with issues about job creation and because of his track records in creating jobs, most Ghanaians trust his works," Dr. Dankwah said. 


He believes Agyapong's message is what the party needs to win the 2028 polls.


Dr. Dankwah urged NPP delegates to vote for Kennedy Agyapong, emphasizing that he is the right person to lead the party to victory. 


"I believe this is a huge opportunity for the NPP to ride on the shoulders of Kennedy Agyapong to win the masses again and get power come 2028 polls," he added.

Kumasi Technical Institute Receives Completed First Phase of PTA Renovation Project

  The Parent Teacher Association of the Kumasi Technical Institute has officially handed over the first phase of a major renovation project to school authorities in the Kumasi Metropolis. Phase One of the project includes the painting and expansion of the school’s dining hall, the painting of the administration block, science block, and boys’ dormitory, as well as the provision of new dining hall tables and benches.   Members of the National Concerned Small Scale Miners at Manso-Watreso and other communities in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region are alleging harassment and extortion by police officers from Bekwai under the Ashanti South Regional Police Command. The miners in a statement on Monday alleged that officers from the command regularly visit sites belonging to members of the National Concerned Small Scale Miners Association to carry out operations and, in the process, allegedly collect money from miners without justification.  Some affected miners claim the officers often remove the number plates of the vehicles they use during these operations, making it difficult to properly identify them or authenticate the operations.
