MP Hon Joseph Azumah Donates GHC 700,000 to 1,500 Widows in Adansi Akrofuom

The Member of Parliament for Adansi Akrofuom, Hon Joseph Azumah, has donated items worth GHC 700,000 to 1,500 widows in his constituency.

The items, including rice, oil, mackerel, and cloth, were distributed at a ceremony attended by pastors, traditional leaders, and party executives, including DCE Hon Gariba Mohamed.

Hon Azumah expressed gratitude to God for winning the Akrofuom seat and thanked constituents for their trust.

"This is a small way of thanking them for their immense support," he said, promising better days ahead.

He also highlighted his continued charity work despite losing the 2020 election, assuring constituents it won't be his last gesture.

Some widows praised Hon Azumah's kindness, promising to support him and DCE Hon Gariba Mohamed in bringing development to Akrofuom.

"We're grateful for his help and will support him," said one widow.
