Kwadaso Residents Praise MCE Eric Osei Asibey’s Monthly Sanitation Day Initiative


 Residents in the Kwadaso Municipality have commended the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Eric Osei Asibey, for introducing a Sanitation Day initiative aimed at keeping communities clean and healthy.


The initiative, which takes place on every first Saturday of the month, focuses on cleaning major streets, gutters, markets and public spaces within the municipality. It forms part of the MCE’s efforts to promote proper sanitation and improve environmental conditions across Kwadaso.

Speaking during a recent clean-up exercise, residents expressed their appreciation to Hon. Asibey for prioritising cleanliness in the municipality. They encouraged him to sustain the programme throughout his tenure, describing it as an effective way to reduce filth and prevent sanitation-related diseases.


The Environmental Health Officer of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly Madam Genevieve Anthony also praised the MCE and his team for their dedication, particularly in providing the needed logistics and support to ensure the success of the exercise.


He further urged the public to actively participate in the monthly clean-up, stressing that maintaining a clean environment is a shared responsibility. The officer encouraged residents to join the exercise every first Saturday of the month to help make Kwadaso a cleaner and healthier municipality.
