Wisdom Ladies Donates Items Worth Hundreds of Cedi to Kumasi Children’s Home

 


The Wisdom Ladies Association in Kumasi has donated assorted food items and an undisclosed amount of money to the Kumasi Children’s Home in the Ashanti Region 


The move according to the association is to support the upkeep of the children at the facility. 



The items presented included drinks, bags of rice, bottles of water, cartons of milk, biscuits, gallons of cooking oil, pampers and other foodstuffs.


Speaking during the presentation, the leader of the association, Nana Adwoa Nyarko, explained that the group was formed to provide assistance to orphanages, prisons, hospitals and other charitable institutions in society.



She noted that the association is committed to supporting the vulnerable and called on individuals, organizations and institutions to support the activities of the Wisdom Ladies Association to help them achieve their objectives.


Receiving the items on behalf of management of the home, Cecilia Oppong expressed gratitude to the executives and members of the association for the kind gesture.


 She also appealed to other organizations, institutions and individuals to extend similar support to the home to help improve the welfare of the children.
